Pre & Post-Op Instructions for Arm Lift Surgery – Arm Lift Turkey
The following text is a general guide for arm lift surgery in Istanbul. It is not a substitute for the specific instructions of your surgeon at Pina Aesthetic. You should always follow the advice of your surgeon after the arm lift surgery.
Before the Surgery:
Important Note: The surgery will be cancelled if you are pregnant or not fit for the operation. This will be determined by the anaesthesiologist.
Two Weeks Before the Surgery:
Avoid alcohol and nicotine products such as cigarettes, nicotine gum, etc. Nicotine can affect the blood circulation and the outcome of the arm lift surgery. It can also increase the risk of anaesthesia complications.
One Day Before the Surgery:
Do not eat or drink anything after midnight. You need to fast to receive sedation for the surgery.
The Day of the Surgery:
You can shower and wash your hair in the morning of the arm lift procedure.
Do not wear any makeup, hair spray, gel, nail polish or false eyelashes.
Wear loose and comfortable clothing that does not need to be pulled over your head. (No t-shirts because you should not raise your arms)
